SDPSSA Swimming Review 2024

SDPSSA Swimming Review 2024

Dear All,

The Shoalhaven District PSSA would like to thank Tim Duggan, Nat Dee Holbrow and all the representatives of Nowra Public School for their fine efforts at today’s District Swimming Carnival. We would also like to express our immense appreciation to the efforts of Pete Domazar (Callala PS) and Vicki Bennett (Cambewarra PS & Nowra Hill PS) for their great work in processing entries and their contributions on the day which made our District Swimming Carnival successful. Many thanks are also due to the school representatives, the participating students and all Shoalhaven parents and families for helping to make the carnival a great event. We are only as strong as our member schools and communities – Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

In addition, a huge ‘Thank You!’ is owed to all our volunteers for giving up their valuable time to support school sport and the Shoalhaven District PSSA. Quite simply, without their continued assistance and expertise, we would not be able to run our carnivals with anything like the success we currently enjoy! Our volunteers today were retired legends Scott Puckeridge and Ian Waters (both long-time patrons of the SDPSSA) , Life Members Ken Choice, Dave Adams and Peter Collins (excellent counsellors and experienced PSSA advocates) and our swimming experts, Nichole Biggs (Meadows Swim School) and Karen Higham (Bomaderry Swim Club) – both of whom are dedicated, long-time supporters of the Shoalhaven District PSSA.

Once again we received support from Nowra Swim Club with the hire of their timing equipment and obviously to all the staff at Nowra Aquatic Centre – thank you for your efforts and assistance.

What a great day!

Yours in sports,

Shoalhaven District PSSA
